Who
The SSAT is a standardized test often required for secondary school applications.
This 3-day program is for rising 8th graders who wish to strengthen core math skills and develop strong test-taking strategies to perform well on the SSAT math portion - or simply enter high school more prepared for advanced math.
It’s for students who’d enjoy practicing together and learning from each other in a small, fun environment, rather than only studying in isolation.
Goals
Reinforce key problem types by understanding the math deeply AND learning the shortcuts.
Develop problem-solving strategies related to timed, multiple-choice math tests.
Develop teamwork and communication skills by discussing and presenting their work.
Reduce future preparation time by pinpointing which problem types feel solid and which could use more practice.
Create community by practicing together as a group during this intensive, and potentially during additional practice sessions in August and September.
Logistics
Small cohort (8 student max) held in Cow Hollow, San Francisco.
June 22-24* (Mon-Wed)
12:30-3pm OR 4-6:30pm
We will offer several additional practice sessions in August and September!
Cost: $750 per 3-Day session (7.5 hours).
Earlybird discount: Only $600 if you register through 4/26!
